And some dogs are not senior yet they have a hard time keeping up.
Yesterday I was a very happy “Mom” to see Noodle be able to do the whole dog walk – an hour long, many pit stops to dig for mice with her buddies – half her age – and cooling off in all the water filled ditches. 8 month ago Noodle could only walk for about 10 minutes and sit down panting – and certainly not anything uphill. That was a challenge living where we do. She could not jump up on her favourite arm chair or the couch or the bed. We did all that I know – Chiro with Auntie Petra, Sessions with Auntie Karen, homeopathy with me and increasing her supplements – and it worked. She is back on her chair, runs with the pack and has a greater life force again. I am very, very grateful that she has her quality of life back . One of these posts, I will share her beginnings which will explain why she has such health challenges. Here they all are – she is the black one on the left – 12 years “young”.
If you have a senior dog – feel free to ask what we did. It might just give your dog a quality of life again. Happy Trails.
